Jim Roehrdanz began his legal career in civil litigation with law firms in Muncie and Hammond, Indiana before returning to his hometown of Indianapolis in 1985. At that time, Jim joined a well-known and highly respected law firm which focuses throughout Indiana and beyond on all aspects of insurance defense. Jim served first as an associate attorney, then as a partner for 31 years and finally in an Of Counsel capacity to the firm. Throughout his career, Jim focused on personal injury and property damage matters arising from a wide variety of occurrences involving automobile and trucking accidents, products liability and premises liability. Jim tried numerous cases to jury verdict in both rural and densely populated Indiana counties. Jim has been a Registered Civil Mediator since 2005. Jim obtained his undergraduate degree from Indiana University Bloomington and his law degree from Valparaiso University. Jim is a member of the Indianapolis and Indiana State bar associations.
In his spare time, Jim enjoys golf, numismatics (a/k/a coin collecting where he is a past president of the Indianapolis Coin Club) and following the exploits of Indiana Hoosier athletic teams, as well as the Pacers and Colts. Jim and his wife Deb have one daughter, Emma, whom they visit as often as possible in Chicago, with the added bonus of attending Cubs games at nearby Wrigley Field.
